Hi, my name is Julie and I am blessed to have such a wonderful son. Just over a year ago, our family received news that changed our lives forever, our youngest son was diagnosed with autism(autism spectrum disorder),moderate to severe.This diagnoses did not come as a shock to us considering our son didn't start walking until age 2 , rarely ever spoke , and had severe emotional detachment from our family.Our son has been in Speech , physical , and occupational therapy along with applied behavioral annalysis therapy since he was 16 months old. Our son is also "a runner" ,we have made some modifications to our home ,but need to make many more. It is a true blessing to spend as much time as I do with my son , it is also a financial challenge to have our household pare down from two incomes to one. My husband recently was downsized from his job , and is currently supporting our family on a three hundred sixty dollar a week job , until something in his area of experience becomes available. We are in need of making modifications to our home , a child's bedroom set ,and  repairs to our vehicle. We would appreciate any kind of help you would like to give. Thank you so much , God bless you.
